Since September 11, we tested collecting US customs duties and import fees directly at checkout. However, due to a system issue, this option has been temporarily disabled.

For now, duties and related import fees will not be charged at checkout. Instead, once your order has been shipped, DHL will contact you directly to pay the applicable customs duties and fees online before delivery.

Important Notice for All US Orders – Updated on August 21, 2025

Starting from August 29, 2025 (EST), all shipments to the United States will be subject to customs duties and related fees, regardless of order value.

Please read carefully:

  • Even orders under USD 800 will now incur customs duties.
  • US customs duty rates were significantly revised in August 2025.
  • Customs duties are calculated by the Customs office based on the purchase amount paid by the customer, converted to USD using the latest exchange rate at the time of shipment.
  • Customs duties are not included in your product price or shipping fee.
  • All duties and related fees (including DHL fees for paying duties on your behalf) are the responsibility of the customer.

Customs Refusal Policy:
If customs duties are refused after shipment, Everglow Cosmetics reserves the right to have the package destroyed locally. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

Shipping Cost Revision Effective August 30, 2025

Due to DHL Express’s updated shipping rates, our international shipping costs will be revised as follows.

United States: ¥4,500
Canada: ¥4,500
Asia (South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan): ¥2,500
Europe: ¥3,600
Iceland: ¥4,000 (Free Shipping not available)
UAE: ¥5,500 (Free Shipping not available)

The free shipping threshold for the United States and Canada will also be updated to ¥50,000 per order.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Orders are usually shipped within 3 business days excluding weekends and Japanese holidays. You will receive an email with your tracking information once your order ships. If you do not receive a shipping confirmation email within 24 hours of placing your order, please contact info@everglowcosmetics.com.

Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes and fees. Any additional fees resulting from customer-requested changes after dispatch (such as shipping address change etc.) are to be covered by the customer.

All orders are shipped from Tokyo, Japan using trackable shipping service.

Please provide your full legal name (as shown on your government-issued ID) in the shipping information at checkout. Orders with only initials may face extra customs inspection, delivery delays, or ID/passport checks by the courier. If the recipient’s full name is not provided, the order will be cancelled, and any differences caused by exchange rate changes or bank fees will not be reimbursed.

We do not ship to locations defined as a remote area by DHL. If your shipping address is located in a remote area, we will cancel your order. Remote area includes locations in United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom, France, Finland and more. Please check prior to placing an order if your zip/postal code is on the remote area list.

*Please note that this delivery time frame is an estimate and not a guarantee. We are not responsible for delivery delays to customs holds and inspections or delays due to conditions beyond our control.
*We are not responsible for lost, misdelivered, or stolen packages, or packages that were sent to the address that was entered in at checkout that the customer failed to correct.
*Customs duty, tax, fees are NOT included in the shipping cost

 

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

You will receive an email notification with tracking number once your order has shipped. This will contain a link to follow the shipping status for you order.
You are responsible for tracking your package using the information we send you in the shipping confirmation email. Any inquiries regarding the exact location of your package should be made to the carrier directly. Our customer service agents only have as much information as can be seen by you through your tracking number.

If you do not receive a shipping confirmation email within 5 business days of placing your order, please contact info@everglowcosmetics.com.

 

TAXES, DUTIES AND CUSTOMS FEES

All import taxes, duties and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient of the package. These fees are not included in your order and/or shipping total. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what the additional costs and delays could entail prior to purchasing. All customs forms will be filled out accurately to reflect the purchases made.

 

RETURNED PACKAGE

A 10% fee of the total purchase will be charged on returns of undeliverable or unclaimed orders (eg. incorrect shipping address, unpaid duties and taxes, unclaimed packages, packages that were not picked up etc.) as those items are required to be destroyed and it would be deducted before issuing the refund. Any refused items are subject to a 10% fee. The original shipping fee will not be refunded. Refunds will be processed only after all products are returned to Everglow Cosmetics. Please make sure to double check the shipping addresses to ensure correct delivery.

If you wish to reship an unclaimed, refused, or undeliverable package you are responsible for the new shipping cost and ¥500 handling fee. The original shipping fee will not be refunded.

 

RESTRICTION

Orders have a maximum sub-total purchase amount limit of ¥180,000. Orders shipping to addresses in Europe are limited to ¥120,000.

 

RETURNS

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for reasons of buyer's remorse (purchased wrong item/shade, unhappy with product etc). If you received incorrect item or if they are damaged, please contact us by email (info@everglowcosmetics.com) within 5 days from the date that you received the product. Customers are asked to include digital photo(s) of the damaged or defective product so we can forward to our Carrier.

Any refused items or incorrect addresses are subject to a 10% restocking fee based on the selling price.

 

REFUNDS

Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original purchase. Any differences in the amount refunded due to exchange rate fluctuations and/or bank charges will not be reimbursed.

 

CANCEL/CHANGE ORDER

You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipment of your Everglow Cosmetics order. Since we start processing order as soon as it is placed, any and all cancelled orders/items are subject to a 10% cancelling fee. Redeemed points/discount codes are non-refundable.

We are unable to combine multiple orders or add additional items to an order once it has been placed.

If you choose to cancel an order, you must contact Everglow Cosmetics immediately by e-mail at info@everglowcosmetics.com. Once your order has shipped, it cannot be changed or cancelled.
